Curb Appeal

We *finally* got our front porch replaced. It was just in time, we only had about 6 bricks left in the stairs!

We had them replace the chipped concrete sidewalk as well

The old ones don't look so bad with a cute little boy there. But see all the missing bricks by his feet.. that was before most of them fell off!

Behind the scenes at the Gracen Photoshoot

We started out at B's work to have everyone meet for the shoot. J was kind enough to let us use glasses for the shoot, and brought us doughnuts.. :) Here's L deciding which jewelery to use with the outfits S let us borrow for the shoot.

Here is our fabulous stylist S! She was on top of everything!

This is our first set up at the tiny store. We did lots of shots around the produce, with B managing the lighting..

These shots will look amazing. J had a flash set up on the bottom corner that caused a bright reflection in the glass that made her stand out and wash out the product...

SECOND cutest pittie ever. (after Nayla) Bear. He acted as our guard dog. He loved to give kisses though.. but J swears he's a fierce protector.. :)

Here's S jumping in to get everything set!

So here's where it was fun for me. I had my new camera and J put on the flash transmitter and set my setting to his so I could take some pictures. I only had my 50mm lens on (he was using a 24-70mm) so I couldn't move back far enough to get a full picture with the flash setup B was holding. Nevertheless it was great for me!! Here are 3 that I took..

These last shots were simply perfect. You can see in the second shot that J was laying on the ground using the sky as the backdrop. It was an overcast day (but still bright). From his camera these were just amazing shots...
